the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Both hearings
will be held in the Hearing Room, Weld County Administration
Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado. Please note the

The intention of the slurry wall is to reduce/block groundwater flow to limit groundwater inflows and pumping expense,
to create reclaimed water storage, and stay within State of Colorado, Division of Water Resources Rules and Regulations
for groundwater exposure.

The mining area and slurry wall are correct.
The permit area is what can be disturbed and sometimes coincides with the property line. The slurry wall is inside the
permit area. Inside the slurry wall goes the mining area (your blue line). To limit length and curves in the slurry wall you
set the slurry wall outside the mining area (3:1 excavation area) and inside the permit area.

See attached full plan set with some further descriptions. It shows setbacks, well heads, facilities and gas line
locations. The mine plan is to mine safe slopes to all structures as reported in the slope stability analysis and shown in
the cross sections and on the plans. All slurry wall crossings of flow lines will be dug with a stand by around the
perimeter of the site. The existing grade will not be changed by any of the flows lines and all access to wells heads will
remain as shown on the plans. This is a below grade mining plan, meaning no above grade fills will be made and the
mine will be mined and reclaimed at a 3H:1V to bedrock from the mine high wall.
See attached stability analysis and cross section information too.

Here is a screen shot of the area you are looking to develop for your water storage.
Let us know that what your plans are for this property as it relates to our wells/facilities and flow lines/gathering lines.
The solid green indicate gathering lines, while the yellow/green lines indicate flow lines form the wells to the facilities.
I need your actual plans for the property, not a box outlining the area.
I am located in Denver.

Looking at another gravel mine north of Platteville (see attached maps). I copied David Hunt on this as he is the
property owner/contact. Also I the mail you will see a structure agreement (sent out yesterday).
Probably a good idea to meet on this one with the property owner. Do you have time to meet just north of Platteville or
Frederick in the next couple of weeks?
