RE.« REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON WEST 20TH STREET
AT 83RD AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado statute, the Board of County
Commissioners has determined upon the basis of traffic and per-
sonal investigations through the Department of Engineering, that
conditions exist which make it necessary to change the previous
stop signs on 83rd Avenue to control traffic on West 20th Street,
at the intersection of 83rd Avenue and West 20th Street, as more
fully set forth on the attached map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners that the Board deems it necessary and in the best
interest of Weld County, to regulate, warn, and guide traffic on
West 20th Street, by changing the previous stop signs on 83rd
Avenue to West 20th Street, at the intersection of 83rd Avenue
and West 20th Street, for safety of the general public and that
said traffic control devices shall conform to the State Manual
and specifications, and that the same be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adppted ,by the following vote,on the 31st day of
August, A.D. , 1977.
