Home My WebLink About20190224.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR USE OF ISLAND GROVE EXHIBITION HALL AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - CITY OF GREELEY WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Rental Agreement for Use of the Island Grove Exhibition Hall, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Human Services, and the City of Greeley, commencing upon full execution of signatures, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Rental Agreement for Use of the Island Grove Exhibition Hall, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Human Services, and the City of Greeley, be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said agreement. Request Board Approval of the Department's Contract with the City of Greeley for Use of the Island Grove Exhibition Hall. As a part of the Department's Strategic Plan, a committee was formed to develop an All -Department Meeting. That meeting has been scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2019. The Department has reserved the Island Grove Exhibition Hall for Thursday, February 7, 20 and Friday, February 8, 201. This location is free of charge but does require a formal contract to secure the reservation. I do not recommend a Work Session. Purpose Space and Equipment are let for the expressed purpose of above named customer. Lessor is responsible for all applicable estimates, fees and charges as stated above and in no way constitute a final invoice or binding assessment of the financial obligations on the part of the Lessor. Lessee agrees to adhere to the policy rules itemized in the Island Grove policy manual available In the Scheduling Office located in the Event Center.
