Street acceptance Casa Grande Estates 1st Addition
Subject:
On July 26, 1976 the developer was notified of the
necessary corrections to be made in Casa Grande Estates
1st Addition, as evidenced by the attached copy of said
letter, prior to accepting streets for full maintenance.
Also please find attached my memo to Richard Straub
dated November 20, 1975 explaining the status of streets
located in Casa Grande at the time of partial acceptance.
At this date the necessary corrections have been made
and I would now recommend that all streets in this sub-
division be added to the County Road system and accepted
for full maintenance. Said streets would be all of
Del Camino Lane, Apache Road, Sioux Ct . , Del Comundo Lane ,
and Navajo Ct. , within the boundaries of Casa Grande Estates
1st Addition, all being 60 feet in width and totaling 1.81±
miles. This recommendation would also include the release
of the Letter of Credit issued by the National State Bank of
Boulder for the account of the Miller "640" Venture % James
H. Tull , General Partner.

MEMORANDUM
TO: Richard L. Straub DATE: November 20, 1975
FROM: ,
Casagrande Estates 1st Addition„,-"'SUBJECT:(
A request was received- Navember`7, 1975 from Drexel , Barrell and Co. , Engineering
Consultants for Casangrande Estates-First Addition, requesting acceptance of streets
in said subdivision.
Many inspections have been made on this project and all indicate the streets in this
subdivision are in very good shape at this time. These streets have been roughed
in for some time and used as such. Recently said streets were all scarified,
reshaped and re-laid and compacted with rubber tire rollers. Then a good strong
4" of base was put on and again well compacted. Then asphalt paving was laid, making
from all appearances, a very fine street.
Several inspections were made by people from this office and all their reports are
good and are on file. Core tests have been made of the asphalt and are stored
in the Engineer's office at this time. Shouders have been dragged up to the asphalt
and all drainage seems to be in fine shape.
I would recommend that all streets in this subdivision be accepted for partial
maintenance and subdivider notified of same. The streets to be accepted for partial
maintenance would be all of Del Camino Lane, Apache Road, Sioux Ct. Del Comundo Lane
and Navajo Ct. within the boundaries of Casagrande Estates 1st Addition. All combined
there would be 1 .81 ± miles to accept.
Date for final inspection should be on or about July 18, 1976 and then acceptance for
full maintenance should be made August 18, 1976 or nine months after partial acceptance.
Letter of Credit to assure full compliance expired in October 1975.

Dear Mr . Barrell :
Re : Street Maintenance - Casa Grande Estates 1st Addition
As per the letter of Richard Straub , former County Engineer ,
dated November 20 , 1975 , the second inspection of Casa
Grande Estates , First Addition has been made and the find-
ings were as follows :
1 . There are no street signs in place .
2 . An access to an oil well site on Del Camino Lane is
now in existence .
3 . An access culvert to the second house on the East side
north of County Road 20 on Apache Road seems to be
plugged .
4 . Water valve in North borrow pit on Del Camino Lane at
the North end of Apache Road .
5 . Some concrete culverts have been used for approaches .
In order for the Weld County Engineer ' s office to recommend
to the County Commissioners to accept full maintenance of
said subdivision street the developer should do the following :
WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
DIVISION SUPERVISORS GLENN K. BILLINGS
EUGENE WHITE-BRIDGE NORMAN CARLSON VICTOR JACOBUCCI
WILBUR SCHWA-IL-TRAFFIC JUNE STEINMARK ROY MOSER
Mr . Robert F . Barrell 2 July 26 , 1976
1 . Place all necessary street signs .
2 . Inform this office of the status of the access to
Del Camino Lane from the oil well site , such as
who gave permission to use said street , how much
the street will be used and the type of equipment
that will use said street .
3 . Clean out the culvert on Apache Road at about Lot
15 or 16 .
4 . Water valve in borrow pit of Del Camino Lane must
be protected with some type of frame work to protect
it against normal maintenance of said streets .
5 . Weld County Engineer has agreed to accept concrete
culverts that have been installed to this date , but
any others installed must be corrugated metal pipe .
When the above items have been taken care of please notify
me and I will then be able to recommend to the County
Commissioners to accept the streets for full maintenance .
Sincerely ,

COLORADO From Engineering Department
Fagerberg Subdivision
Subject:
On September 17, 1975 the public street serving Lots 4, 5,
and 6 of the Fagerberg Subdivision was accepted for partial
maintenance by the Board of County Commissioners .
An on site inspection at this date reveals no deficiencies
existing on the part of the developer; however, a small
cut made in the County right of way does exist and the
District Road Supervisor informed me this will be repaired
by County maintenance in the next few days.
With this in mind I would recommend this small street be
accepted by the County for full street maintenance and the
Subdivider ' s note in the amount of $800. 00 be released.
Said street is 20 feet wide and .026 ± miles long.
