RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE, COZ19-0002, FROM THE
R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO THE C-3 (BUSINESS
COMMERCIAL) ZONE DISTRICT- DANIEL AND JANNA MILLER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 9th day of
October, 2019, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Daniel and Janna Miller, 470 E. 18th St., Greeley, Colorado 80631, requesting
a Change of Zone, COZ19-0002, from the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zone District to the C-3
(Business Commercial) Zone District, for a parcel of land located on the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Lot 1 Resubdivision RES19-0008 of Lot 3, of the
Union Colony Land Subdivision; being part of the
SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 9, Township 5 North, Range
65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to November 27, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., to allow
Daniel and Janna Miller adequate time to complete the Conditions of Approval, and record the
plat for RES19-0008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
November 27, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
