WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, is vested with the
responsibility of administering the affairs of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is the owner of the former
Atlas Missile Site west of Greeley, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has developed said former Atlas
Missile Site as a County park and recreational area and is
desirous of providing for the security thereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to appoint Mr. Loyal Warner as the
Missile Site Park Manager to provide security for said Park
and the archives room contained therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that Mr. Loyal
Warner be, and he hereby is appointed as the Missile Site Park
Manager, effective date January 1, 1977; and that Mr. Warner
serve in this capacity at the pleasure of the Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the
28th day of April , A. D. , 1976.
