Dear Ccrmiissioners:
Mr. and Mts. Al Schupnan purchased 40 acres - Legal Description: West 1 of
the West z of the Northeast 4 of Section 27, Township 1 North, Range 66 West
of the 6th p.m. , County of Weld, State of Colorado, June, 1977.
On June 21, 1977, we were in the Weld County office to purchase a house permit.
At this time we were told that we would have to submit the house plans before
we would be able to apply for a permit. At this time we talked to Mr. Chuck
Cunliffe to make sure we could put a house on the land and he assured us that
everything had been okayed and that there would be no problem as long as he
knew we were going to build. This same day, June 21, we purchased a septic
tank permit #163.
We were able to get our financing okayed and purchased a house package fran
Economy Lumber Company in Longmont and it was delivered September 10, 1977.
We planned our vacation fran work starting September 19, 1977, so that we could
plan to get a house permit and start building the home. We did not realize
that this extension was frail August and not September, 1977.
