RESOLUTION
RE: CORRECTING RESOLUTION REGARDING AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE
URANIUM MINING LEASES BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AS LESSOR AND
POWER RESOURCES CORPORATION AS LESSEE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
CO
o WHEREAS, on September 19 , 1977 , the Board of County Com-
missioners did accept, by Resolution dated the same date, the
proposal presented by Power Resources Corporation to lease
17 , 468. 17 acres, more or less, in Weld County, Colorado, for
the purpose of mining uranium, and
WHEREAS, on October 3 , 1977, the Board of County Commis-
sioners did authorize the execution of said uranium mining
leases by Resolution, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners that the Resolution entitled Authorization
to Execute Uranium Mining Leases Between Weld County as Lessor and
Power Resources Corporation as Lessee, should show the date as
October 3, 1977 as the actual date that the Board of County Com,
missioners adopted and executed the uranium mining leases with
Power Resources Corporation, rather than September 19 , 1977 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said Board deems it
advisable and in the best interest of Weld County to accept the
Corrected Resolution, as more fully stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
