The Weld County Board of Health met March 26, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor hearing
room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment.
Those present included:
Board Members: Joyce Smock, Nicholas Berryman, Chair, Linda Kautz, Tim Annable, Sandra
Owens, James Kuemmerle
Others: Deborah Adamson, Director of Environmental Health, Lauren Light, Katie Sall,
Environmental Health Services
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Joyce Smock to approve the agenda as presented. Tim Annable seconded the
motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Linda Kautz to approve minutes from February 26th, 2019. Joyce Smock
seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
BUSINESS
VERIS ENVIRONMENTAL, LLC — Katie Sall, no new biosolids application.
Veris Environmental, LLC Katie Sall presented 8 biosolids renewal applications. No public
comments or concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval.

A motion was made by Tim Annable to approve the renewals. Sandra Owens seconded the motion
and the motion was carried unanimously.
PRESENTATIONS

Strategic planning to get people more outdoor active
• Outdoor RX promoting active living initiative, encouraging adults and
children to be more outdoor.
• 78% reports being depressed, and social insolation are disconnected to nature
and outdoor activities.

• Work with Weld County health care providers do more referral for physical
activities

A motion by James Kuemmerle to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Linda Kautz -adjourned
the meeting. Next meeting is Tuesday, March 23rd, 2019
