WHEREAS, the Highland Huskies cheer team competed in the CHSAA Class 2A
State Championships at the Denver Coliseum December 7th and 8th, 2018; and
WHEREAS, out of 251 teams competing' at state, . Highland was one of 52 to
make the finals; and
WHEREAS, earning a score of 69.90, the Huskies finished in first place ahead of
Cheyenne Wells, South Park, and Hohone to claim their third consecutive state
championship; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes the hard work of the
team members and coaches this and the Huskies on
year congratulates
winning the 2A State Championship..�.•
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that in recognition of the Highland Huskies cheer
