STATION FOR COMPANY VEHICLES, TRUCK PARKING AND STORAGE (INCLUDING
DUMPSTER AND ROLL -OFF CONTAINER STORAGE), A CONTAINER SHOP AND A
TRUCK WASH) PROVIDED THAT THE PROPERTY IS NOT A LOT IN AN APPROVED
OR RECORDED SUBDIVISION PLAT OR PART OF A MAP OR PLAN FILED PRIOR TO
ADOPTION OF ANY REGULATIONS CONTROLLING SUBDIVISIONS IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - FRONT RANGE LANDFILL, INC.
A public hearing was conducted on August 14, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

Commissioner Mike Freeman, Pro -Tern
Commissioner Sean P. Conway
Commissioner Scott K. James
Commissioner Steve Moreno

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 25, 2019, and duly published June 28,
2019, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted on July 31, 2019, to consider the
request of Front Range Landfill, Inc., for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special
Review Permit, USR19-0032, for any Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use or Use by
Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (office and maintenance building
along with fuel storage and fuel station for company vehicles, truck parking and storage (including
dumpster and roll -off container storage), a container shop and a truck wash) provided that the
property is not a lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior
to adoption of any regulations controlling subdivisions in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bob
Choate, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
el Chair Pro-Tem Freeman explained for the applicant Chair Kirkmeyer's request for a
continuance to allow her to be present and stated the proposed site is in her district. Mark Adams,
Waste Connections, indicated he was in support of the continuance and requested the hearing
be scheduled as soon as possible.

There was discussion regarding potential dates for the continuance, and the Board, applicant,
Sherri Struble, Ranch Eggs Neighborhood Association (RENA) President, and staff agreed to
continue the hearing to August 28, 2019, to allow Chair Kirkmeyer to be present.
Commissioner Moreno moved to continue the request of Front Range Landfill, Inc., for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR19-0032, for any Use
permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or
Industrial Zone Districts (office and maintenance building along with fuel storage and fuel station
for company vehicles, truck parking and storage (including dumpster and roll -off container
storage), a container shop and a truck wash) provided that the property is not a lot in an approved
or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any regulations
controlling subdivisions in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to August 28, 2019, to allow Chair
Kirkmeyer to be present. Commissioner Conway thanked the applicant and public for being
understanding and requested the hearing be first on the docket that day. Chair Pro-Tem Freeman
concurred with the comments made by Commissioner Conway and apologized for the
inconvenience. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Conway, and it carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 12:21 p.m.
This Certification was approved on the 19th day of August, 2019.
