RESOLUTION
RE: NAMING OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF A COUNTY ROAD AS "BRANTNER
ROAD".
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a request has been made to the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the following de-
scribed county road be named "Brantner Road", to -wit:
A certain road which is an extension of County Road
52 (also known as 49th Street) from Highway 85 by-
pass in a southwesterly direction one-fourth mile +
to a point where said road joins County Road 52 (also
known as 49th -Street) all of which is located in
Section 25, Township 5 North of Range 66 West of the
6th P.M. in Weld County, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners, that the above portion of a county road be, and the
same is hereby named "Brantner Road".
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd -day of
March, A.D., 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 14th day of March, A.D., 1977.

On October 1, 1973 the County Engineers office changed our
address from Route 3 to Brantner Road. On February 1, 1977
the County Commissioners again changed our address, this time
from Brantner Road to 49th street.
Brantner Road runs at a diagonal connecting 42nd street to
49th street. We feel it could not possibly be part of 49th,
but is a road in its own right. Brantner Road ends at the
South Platte river, where 49th street starts.
We the undersigned petition to have Brantner Road 'Left,as
Brantner Road.
