HomeMy WebLinkAbout20194105.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR19-0036, FOR A HOME BUSINESS THAT FABRICATES VIA SANDBLASTING AND CARVING STONE MONUMENTS AND HEADSTONES, AND FOR ONE (1) SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNIT PER LOT OTHER THAN THOSE PERMITTED UNDER SECTION 23-3-20.A (SECOND SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNIT) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT- RICHARD AND KATHI CROOKS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 18th day of September, 2019, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of Richard and Kathi Crooks, 23165 CR 13, Johnstown, Colorado 80534, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR19-0036, for a Home Business that fabricates via sandblasting and carving stone monuments and headstones, and for one (1) Single-Family Dwelling Unit per lot other than those permitted under Section 23-3-20.A (second single-family dwelling unit) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit: Part of the SE1/4 of Section 1, Township 4 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be approved, and the matter should be continued to October 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Richard and Kathi Crooks adequate time to return from being out of town for a medical emergency. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to October 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. c.c.' Given this timeframe, the Department of Planning Services is requesting a continuance of case number USR19-0036 until the October 15, 2019 Planning Commissioner Hearing and October 30, 2019 for the Board of County Commissioners hearing.
