Subject: Human Services B Design Services — Task Order
Weld County awarded on -call design services to four different vendors. There is a need for design services
for remodeling the Human Services B Building. C2D Architects has used the labor rates identified in their
bid and quoted a lump sum of $70,600.00 to perform this design work. An amendment to the contract to
accomplish this work requires BOCC approval.
Therefore, Buildings & Grounds is recommending approving this task order.

Note: Pursuant to the "Original Agreement", document No. 2019-2250 section2.2- Additional
Task Order Work. In addition to that work described in section 2.1, the Parties may agree
to additional work to be provided by Contractor pursuant to an appropriately executed
Task Order, which shall be negotiated between the Parties on an as needed basis. Any
such Task Order shall be signed by the Weld County Director of Buildings and Grounds
before it shall be effective. In no event shall the total of all Task Orders exceed $25,000 in
any calendar year unless first approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Any
appropriately executed Task Order shall be automatically incorporated herein and
enforceable.
Scope of Task Order:
1. Design the remodel area of Human Resources Building B of approximately 7,620 square
feet of office space and approximately 27,000 square feet of lighting & controls.
2. The construction drawings will include Architectural, mechanical & plumbing and
electrical design.
Contractor agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached exhibit in accordance
with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Original Agreement between the parties.

FEE PROPOSAL for the WELD COUNTY HR BLDG B REMODEL:
C2D ARCHITECTS, LLC will enter into a Gauranteed Maximum Price (GMP)
Contract. Additional phases of work may be amended to the contract.
C2D ARCHITECTS, LLC PROPOSES THE FOLLOWING FEE
