Buys: Board of Weld Siounty Commissioners Barbara Kirkmeyer, Chair DATE: July 17, 2019 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE THE SALE OF BUILDING LOCATED AT 1301 NORTH 17TH AVENUE, GREELEY, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of the Weld County Finance Corporation of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to its corporate charter is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of the Weld County Finance Corporation, and WHEREAS, the Board of the Weld County Finance Corporation has determined it is the best interest of the Weld County Finance Corporation to sell an office/warehouse building located at 1301 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631, and WHEREAS, the Board of the Weld County Finance Corporation desires to authorize Tracy Taylor, President to sign all the necessary documents to execute the sale of the said building at a closing scheduled for July 17, 2019. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Weld County Finance Corporation to authorize the sale of the office/warehouse building located at 1301 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. Tracy Taylor, President is authorized to sign all the necessary documents to execute the sale of the said building at a closing scheduled for July 17, 2019. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of July, A.D., 2019. PRESENT: Tracy Taylor, President, Donald D. Warden, Vice President Bruce Barker, Secretary OLD BUSINESS: No old business was considered. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Don Warden explained the Weld County Finance Corporation needs to sell an office/warehouse building located at 1301 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. The building was purchased on March 19, 2019 with the intent to sell it to Weld County in July 2019. The funds from the sale will repay Weld County for the funds advanced from Weld County for the purchase on March 19, 2019. Don Warden made a motion, seconded by Bruce Barker to authorize the sale of the office/warehouse building located at 1301 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. Tracy Taylor, President is authorized to sign all the necessary documents to execute the sale of the said building at a closing scheduled for July 17, 2019. The motion was approved unanimously by the Board. A resolution authorizing Tracy Taylor to execute the transaction was also approved unanimously by the Board. 2. The status of the corporation was discussed. Everything appears to be in order. ADJOURNMENT: Adjourned by unanimous vote at 11:22 A.M.
