RE: Letter of Agreement between the Town of Keenesburg and Weld County Public Works Department for Continuance
or Discontinuance of Road Maintenance and Snow Removal
Dear Mr. Gray:
The Town of Keenesburg and Weld County have in effect an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) dated February 21, 2018,
for gravel road maintenance and snow removal of the annexed roads for the Town of Keenesburg.
The Board of County Commissioners requires a written request from the Town of Keenesburg to continue or discontinue
road maintenance and snow removal services by Weld County.
Discontinue: The Town of Keenesburg requests discontinuance of road maintenance and snow removal services by Weld
County Public Works as of December 31, 2018.

Request for Continuance: The Town of Keenesburg requests continued road maintenance and snow removal services by
Weld County, and the County will charge the "current cost incurred" for labor and equipment. The current base rate of
maintenance per hour is $ 65,45 and could change on a month -to -month basis per the "current cost incurred" by Weld
County. Services will remain in accordance to the terms and conditions of the February 21, 2018, Intergovernmental
Agreement. This Letter of Agreement will be in effect until December 31, 2019, at which time the Town of Keenesburg
