RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, heretofore on June 6, 1973, the Weld County Board of
County Commissioners did grant to John C. Carlson, permission to locate
a cattle feedlot operation on the following described property, to-wit:
All that part of the North Half (NZ) of Section
One (1), Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-
five (65) West of the Sixth P. M. , Weld County,
Colorado, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said
Section 1; thence in an easterly direction
along the North Section line of said Section,
1544 feet to dividing lateral; thence along said
dividing lateral on the following courses:
South 45°17' East, 206 feet; thence South 38°33'
East, 349 feet; thence South 27°04' East, 88
feet; thence South 14°40' East, 112 feet; thence
South 49°21' East, 205 feet; thence South 41°18'
East, 493 feet; thence South 62°25' East, 180
feet; thence South 75°17', 178 feet; thence South
51°18' East, 202 feet; thence South 24°00' East,

WHEREAS, John C. Carlson requests a modification of a special use
permit from a cattle feedlot operation ONLY to a cattle, sheep, and/or hog
feedlot operation; and
WHEREAS, for good cause shown, the Board has determined that
the proposed special use permit for the operation of a cattle, sheep, and/or
hog feedlot operation should be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the application of John C.
Carlson, Route 1, Box 30, Eaton, Colorado 80615, for the modification from

a cattle feedlot operation to a cattle, sheep and/or hog feedlot operation on
the premises indicated above be, and it is hereby granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Board and it is hereby ordered
that all conditions as contained in the aforementioned Resolution of June 6,
1973, remain in full force and effect as contained therein.

introduced for passage by the Weld County Planning Commission :
Be it Resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the
application for xilMW approval of a modification in SUP (cattle to hogs)
covering the following described property in Weld County ,
Colorado , to-wit :
be recommended ( favorably ) xnnit cowrabilJn1 to the Board of County
Commissioners for the following reasons : (1 ) Complies with the
Comprehensive Plan in that it is a modification of agri-business, it is
currently zoned agriculture, an existing feedlot is adjacent to this and it
has a Special Use Permit; (2) The change does not surpass the original
approval for concentration and pen size; (3) County Extension has given
approval based on square footage per animal ; and (4) County Health Department
has given their approval . SUBJECT TO: (1 ) Construction beginning within 12
months from date of approval by Board of County Commissioners; and (2) Building
permits being obtained for facilities to be constructed.

NOTICE

is granted Violation of any of the rules or regulations applicable may result in the revocation of this permit -I he Building Inspector or his agents are
authorized to order the immediate cessation of construction at any tinie a violation of the rule, and reguiatrui s appeals to 'rave occurred
