RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Deanna Herbert, be appointed to said board
as the Consumer Science representative, with a term to expire February 1, 2022, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ron Marshall, be reappointed as the At -large
representative, Sean Short be reappointed as the Master Gardener/Horticulture representative,
and that Daryl Wiest, be reappointed, as the Crop Science representative, all with terms to expire
February 1, 2022, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and reappointed,
to the Extension Advisory Council, all with terms to expire February 1, 2022.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of January, A.D., 2019.
