Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment Second Floor Hearing Room 210 The Weld County Board of Health met August 27, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor hearing room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. Those present included: Board Members: Nicholas Berryman, Tim Annable, Fred Hepner, Katerie Lauck, Joyce Smock and Jeff Reck. Others: Katie Sall, Environmental Health Services. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The meeting was called to order at 9:04 AM. A motion was made by Joyce Smock to approve the agenda as presented. Fred Hepner seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Fred Hepner to approve minutes from August 27`", 2019 meeting. Katerie Lauck seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. BUSINESS Veris Environmental, LLC- Katie Sall presented 15 biosolids renewal applications. No public comments or concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval. DS -200209, DS -200502, DS -200545, DS -200627, DS -200637, DS -200652, DS -200710, DS -200835, DS -200840, DS -200841, DS -201107, DS -301304, DS -201305, DS -1700010 and DS -1800009. A motion was made by Tim Annable to approve the renewals. Joyce Smock seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. PRESENTATIONS Cindy Kronauge, MPH, PhD, Health Data Specialist, HECP Division — 2019 Community Health Survey. Our survey is done every 3 years. We will be conducting a new one in September 2019. We send to about 10,000 households in Weld County. (Greeley/Evans, North, Southwest and Southeast). The survey consists of 50 questions. The people are selected at random and are addressed to current resident and it will have Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment as the return Qaenrn niCatsOns Oci(OG((9 2019-3988 sender. We send them a letter, postcard, then another letter asking them to complete the survey. They can either send it back by mail or they can do the survey on-line. This is done both in English and Spanish. We hope to get 2800 responses back. If you know of anyone who receives the survey, please ask them to take the time to fill out the survey. Their information is very important to us. "Your health matters. Your answers matter" Your confidential responses will help local agencies identify resources and needs for community programs to make Weld County a healthier place. A motion by Linda Kautz to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Joyce Smock. Meeting was adjourned at 9:27 am. Next meeting is Tuesday, September 24th , 2019.
