The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is required under the Workforce Innovation
and Opportunity Act(WIOA)to subsequently designate local workforce areas after the first two
program years if the area has performed successfully, sustained fiscal integrity, and met the
requirements for involvement in WIOA regional planning.The CWDC has received your request for
the Weld County Workforce Development Area to be subsequently designated.
Based on the documentation submitted in accordance with Policy Guidance Letter#:WIOA-2015-01,
change 2, the Colorado Workforce Development Council has approved your request for subsequent
designation. This status is effective July 1, 2019.
