RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER SCOTT K. JAMES TO LOCAL
EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the Local Emergency Planning Committee,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner James to said
committee, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner James be, and hereby is, appointed to the Local
Emergency Planning Committee, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of January, A.D., 2019, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2019.
