RE: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with
Realities for Children Charities (RFCC)
Please review and indicate if you would like a work session prior to placing this item on the
Board's agenda.
Request Board Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the
Department and Realities for Children Charities (RFCC). This MOU allows the Department
to access emergency funds that have been donated to RFCC and are specifically designated for
Weld County. It further allows for Special Youth Opportunities which are local activities
entirely sponsored by RFCC, periodically throughout the year, for Weld County children and
youth. We have no financial obligations under this agreement. The Department would share and
display information regarding fundraising activities by RFCC and submit one (1) letter annually
that speaks to the value of having ongoing support through RFCC. The term of this MOU will be
January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019.
I do not recommend a Work Session. I recommend approval of this MOU.
