wide range of emergency services and activities that positively impact the citizens
and visitors to Weld County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners recognizes that the Weld
County Public Safety Communications Department is an integral part of our
partnership with law enforcement pgencids, including fire departments and
emergency medical services, throughout our county when they respond to citizens'
and visitors' requests for help, and rely heavily on the dedication and good will of
their combined efforts; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Weld County and surrounding counties rely on the critical
services provided by the Weld County Public Safety Communications Department;
and
WHEREAS, the week of April 14-20, 2019, has been set aside to reaffirm our
appreciation of the Weld County Public Safety Communications Department in
meeting the needs of our community through celebration of National
Telecommunications Week.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of County Commissioners does hereby proclaim the
week of April 14-20, 2019, as National Telecommunications Week to honor the men
and women who are dedicated to this profession and serve the public through their
daily dedication to Public Safety.
