RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that a proposed sale of
a tract of land more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
SE4SEaSEa, Section 14, Township 2 North, Range 64
West of the 6th P. M. , Weld County, Colorado.
Contains 10 acres m/1 .
to the Adolph Coors Company for the purpose of the development
of natural gas fields in Weld County, Colorado, the specific
purpose is for a compressor station, pig receiver unit and a
stabilizer unit as an integral parts in the processing of gas
to make it marketable and useable, it is a necessary station to
compress gas for transmission purposes and does not come within
the purview of the definition of the terms "subdivision" and
"subdivided lands" as set forth in CRS 106-2-33, (3) (a) and (b)
1963, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, desires to exempt this particular division of land
for the aforesaid reasons pursuant to its authority under CRS
106-2-33(d) , 1963, as amended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposed sale
and development of the hereinabove described tract of land to
Adolph Coors Company for the sole purpose of erecting the aforementioned
compressor station be exempted from the definition of the terms
"Subdivision" and "subdivided land" as provided for in the new Weld
County Subdivision Regulations at Section 2-1 ,A. , (3) adopted
August 30, 1972.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
August, 1973.

Re : Request for Exemption
Gentlemen :
Adolph Coors Company, by and through this law firm, hereby
requests exemption from the so-called Senate Bill 35 (C .R.S .
106-2-9 , et seq, as Amended , 1972) and Section 2-1 of the
Official Subdivision Regulations of Weld County, Colorado
for the following described lands :
SE4SEiSE4i Section 14, Township 2 North ,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M. , containing
10 acres , more or less .
This request and petition is made pursuant to C .R.S . 106-2-33
(3) (d) , as Amended , 1972 , and Section 2-1 (A) (3) of said Regula-
tions, namely that this division of lands is not within the
intended purposes of the Statute or Regulation .
The reasons this division of lands is not within the intended
purpose of the Statute and Regulation are as follows :
1 . The use to which the land is to be put is to aid in the
development of natural gas fields in Weld County, Colorado.
The specific purpose is for a compressor station , pig receiver
unit and a stabilizer unit . These are necessary and integral
parts in the processing of gas to make it marketable and usable .
In addition , it is a necessary station to compress the gas for
transmission purposes .
2 . The general nature of the activity is that of a public
utility which should not be classified as a subdivision or
platting of ground for resale or housing purposes .

3 . The development of natural resources , and the land uses
attendant thereto, is not a subdivision of the lands intended
to be covered by the Statute and the Regulation .
4 . There will be no water requirement .
5 . There will be no sewer requirement .
6. There will be no housing requirement .
7 . Although some trucking is involved , very little traffic
will be involved in the use of this site .
8 . It is believed that this use is consistent with surround-
ing land use and the policies of the Planning Commission in that
it is a necessary part of development of natural resources
attendant to agricultural zoning .
You should be advised that this land is presently in the name of
Ernest E . Dick, Jr . and Cleona C . Dick but is subject to a
receipt and option contract for the benefit of the Adolph Coors
Company .
In summary , this exemption is requested for this parcel of land
which forms a necessary and integral part of the plan for develop-
ment of scores of gas wells in Weld County . The use of this
parcel for these purposes is not seen as the type of use or
division of the lands that is intended to be covered by Statute
or the Regulation . Should you have need for any further informa-
tion concerning this request please advise me .

REAL PROPERTY
The Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14,Township 2 North,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M.,Weld County, Colorado being the same property conveyed
to Coors Energy Company under deed dated March 20, 1981,in Book 936,Reception No.
1858387, Weld County, Colorado, excepting therefrom a reservation unto Adolph Coors
Company of all water and ditch rights appurtenant thereto, including specifically,the right
to irrigate the above-described 10 acres with Henrylyn Irrigation Ditch Rights and also
including the right to extend a ditch or pipeline over an encasement 10 feet in width adjacent
to the County road on the South Section line of Southeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 2
North Range 64 West for purposes of supplying said Irrigation Ditch Rights to the herein
described 10 acre parcel.
Together with all improvements and appurtenances,excepting two 1,500 barrel horizontal
storage tanks,thereunto belonging.
Including but not limited to the industrial chain link fence around the property described
above,the existing metal building on said property, as well as the existing light poles and
electrical boxes.
