RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR19-0052, FOR A USE PERMITTED AS A USE BY RIGHT, ACCESSORY USE, OR
USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW IN THE COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL ZONE
DISTRICTS (STORAGE OF FIREWOOD AND PARKING AND STAGING OF UP TO
THREE (3) 3/4 -TON PICKUP TRUCKS AND A TRAILER) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - THE GUEST FAMILY TRUST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 6th day of
November, 2019, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of
hearing the application of The Guest Family Trust, 9175 CR 47.5, Hudson, Colorado 80642, for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR19-0052, for a Use
permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or
Industrial Zone Districts (storage of firewood and parking and staging of up to three (3) 3/4 -ton
pickup trucks and a trailer) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real
estate, to -wit:
Part of the SW1/4 of Section 13, Township 2 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the Planning Staff and, having been fully informed, finds that this request
be approved, and the matter should be continued to December 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., to allow
staff time to finalize the staff recommendation, conduct a Planning Commission hearing on
November 5, 2019, and finalize the Planning Commission minutes prior to the and Board of
County Commissioners hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to December 11,
2019, at 10:00 a.m.

TO: Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners

SUBJECT: Proposed Continuance for USR19-0052 (Guest)
USR19-0052 was originally scheduled to be heard at the 10/15/2019 and 11/6/2019.
The property sent a request to withdraw the application on 10/3/2019. In subsequent
conversations with the property owner — the property owner has changed her mind and wishes
to proceed with this case.
The Department of Planning Services is requesting that this application be continued to the
11/5/2019 Planning Commission hearing and 12/11/2019 Board of County Commissioners
Hearing — to allow staff time to finalize the staff recommendation for this case. Also, this will
allow adequate time for Planning Commission review the case prior to the hearing and
adequate time to allow adequate time to finalize minutes between the Planning Commission and
Board of County Commissioners hearings.
