I wanted to offer comment on your recent action protecting due process under the fifth and fourteenth
amendments. I sincerely thank you and believe that your opposition to so-called "red flag" laws is a
positive step in protecting citizens against unlawful and unconstitutional actions being proposed in the
Colorado legislature. Not only that, but it appears Weld County is part of a growing number of counties
and other municipalities across the country taking action against such infringements.
While I lived in Weld County for three years, I am now a resident of Boulder County, where it is unlikely I
will see similar actions against unconstitutional laws and regulations.
Please keep up the good work on behalf of those you serve.
