RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER SCOTT K. JAMES TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Scott K. James has been assigned to Coordinate the
Departments of Human Services and Planning Services, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner James be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (regular member)
• Extension Advisory Council
• Pre -Trial Services Advisory Board
• Workforce Development Board
• Emergency Food and Shelter Program Board
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner James to said boards,
with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner James be, and hereby is, appointed to the above listed
boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2019.
