Hi Angela,
I am writing in regards to the proposed USR 19-0020 Russco. We are direct neighbors of the feedlot that
now exists. We have a lot of concerns with the addition of more cattle and pens. With the huge
concentration of dairies and feedlots in very close proximity, we feel that adding any more may at some
point affect the normal day to day life, bringing on air quality concerns that could in turn affect our health.
The dust is already horrible every night as well as the flies. We feel that there should be some sort of
dust control on the county road as well as in the pens. There needs to be some kind of fly control as
well. When it rains it smells horrible for days after. We know that this is an agriculture county and that
you cant stop growth but they need to at least comply with the rules and regulations in place already. It
just sucks that you can not even enjoy sitting outside in the evenings because of the dust, smell and flies.

Traffic has increased exponentially as a result of the feedlot and the road isn't in good condition. Dust
suppression and increased blading would be appreciated. Would like the trucks to use a different path.
Trucks are going very fast and creating dust problems.
