General Design and Construction
• All steel pipelines constructed to 49 CFR Part 192/195 DOT standards
for gas or crude pipelines.
• Experienced QA/QC inspectors oversee and monitor construction.
• Exceed the State and Federal minimum 3 feet depth of cover standard
I 5 feet or more at road and water crossings.
I 4 feet cover elsewhere.
• Weld to API Standard and x-ray 100% of welds (min. standard is 10%).
• Cathodic protection to prevent corrosion.
• Additional abrasive -resistant coating at all crossings.
• Hydrostatic testing above design pressure of all pipelines.
• Strategically placed block valves and pressure relieving devices.
