WCR 49 REROUTE fitCH 49 General Design and Construction • All steel pipelines constructed to 49 CFR Part 192/195 DOT standards for gas or crude pipelines. • Experienced QA/QC inspectors oversee and monitor construction. • Exceed the State and Federal minimum 3 feet depth of cover standard I 5 feet or more at road and water crossings. I 4 feet cover elsewhere. • Weld to API Standard and x-ray 100% of welds (min. standard is 10%). • Cathodic protection to prevent corrosion. • Additional abrasive -resistant coating at all crossings. • Hydrostatic testing above design pressure of all pipelines. • Strategically placed block valves and pressure relieving devices. 11 Safety Features: Operations • Monitored 24 / 7 / 365 by trained operators. • Written pipeline safety management programs. • Monthly training program for all operations employees. • Leak monitoring and detection process.
