Attached are the fourth quarter 2018 Profit cf& Loss statement, Summary of Accounts and signed
and notarized Acknowledgement. This office processed 3,884 Releases and 102 Foreclosures
fourth quarter. A comparison of 4Q 2018 to 4Q 2017, shows a 19% decrease in the number of
Releases and 21% increase for Foreclosures processed.
The amount of excess funds for fourth quarter 2018 is $1,273.27. Pursuant to statute, the Public
Trustee must pay to the Weld County Treasurer any excess funds upon approval by the
Commissioners.
As mandated by statute, the Public Trustee must keep a separate reserve fund in an amount
equal to total operating costs of the previous year. The operating expenses for 2017 totaled
$302,730.99.
Once approval is received from the Commissioners, a check in the amount of $1,273.27 will be
sent to the Weld County Treasurer for deposit into the Public Trustee Salary Fund, Please let
