RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL REAL ESTATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 16-6 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter,
pursuant to a notice dated January 23, 2019, and duly published February 1 and 15, 2019, in the
Greeley Tribune, the Board is pursuing negotiations concerning a Contract to Buy and Sell Real
Estate in an amount greater than $2,500,000, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 27th day of February, 2019, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to March 27, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.,
to allow for ongoing negotiations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to March 27,
2019, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of February, A.D., 2019.

purchase of a property in an amount greater than $2,500,000 that was not identified in the 2019
county budget in its Hearing Room, Weld County Administrative Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley,
Colorado, on the day and at fihe time specified. This notice is in accordance with Sectiorr 16-6 of
the Weld County Home Rule Charter.
