Benson SPONSORED BY WELD COUNTY 'BOARD OFCOMMISSIONa.8 Marshall H. Anderson, Chairman 31enn K. Billings Harry S. Ashley Betty Jo Schulte, Administrative Asst. Barton Buss , Finance Officer June 1, 1971 710404 FORWARD The following directory is a joint effort of the Weld County Board of Commissioners and the University of Northern Colorado to provide a referral guide of all youth serving agencies and organizations within Weld County. Due to the tremendous land area of Weld County and to the brief amount of time allocated for this project, the interviews and solicitations were confined to the Greeley vacinity. Various organizations and agencies who have contributed to the youth of Weld County may not be listed because of the priority given to agencies and organizations with on going programs. The term "youth" in this directory is defined as any male or female up to 18 years of age. The basic purpose of this directory is to act as a referral to individuals or professional personnel who desire information about youth services within Weld County. A secondary purpose is to determine the degree of overlapping services of the various agencies and organizations. The procedure used in the formulation of this directory included both personal interviews and telephone solicitations.
