RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, has determined that there is a need to establish and adopt a uniform policy relating to the rental and use of the new Weld County Exhibition Building located at the Weld County Fairgrounds, Greeley, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests of Weld County to adopt such a policy whereby all interested groups or persons may be aware of conditions and/or regulations in connection with the rental and use of said new Weld County Exhibition Building. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the County policy covering the rental and use of the Weld County Exhibition Building, copies of such policies marked Exhibit A and Exhibit B attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and they hereby are adopted. BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED, that the aforementioned policies described and marked as Exhibit A and Exhibit B concerning the rental and use of the Weld County Exhibition Building shall be in force and ef- fect until further Order of the Board. The upstairs Conference Rooms will be used for County sponsored activities only when County officials are in charge of the activity. 2. The North entrance must be used for meetings in upstairs Conference Rooms. 3. All scheduling of the Conference Rooms will be done through the Extension Office. 4. Serving of meals is prohibited in the Conference Room, because facilities are insufficient. 5. Keys to upstairs will not be checked out to anyone. Janitor or Extension Agent must be present with key. 6. Seating capacity, 200 persons. r EXHIBIT "B" RENTAL POLICY FOR WELD COUNTY EXHIBITION BUILDING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE FOR USAGE 1. Six sets of bleachers (50 persons each). 2. Three Hundred steel chairs. 3. Fifty wooden tables (saw-horse type). 4. Public Address System. 5. Tie racks for 100 head livestock. 6. Sheep and/or hog pens. TIME REQUIREMENTS 1. Eight man days to set up and tear down for livestock shows and sales. 2. Four man days for chair and stage set up and tear down. 3. One watchman at least, during use of building. OTHER. REQUIREMENTS 1. Trash removal and receptacles. 2. Night time security. 3. Electricity. 4. Heating or cooling. 5. Janitorial service during events. The following charges should be considered for the County to break even and not incur costs above the rates charged. 1. Basic charge for building - includes electricity, heating, air conditioning and one watchman - $40 per hour. 2. Use of bleachers and stage - $10 per day or per activity. 3. Use of tables and/or chairs - $10 per day or per activity. 4. Use of P. A. system - $10 per day. 5. Use of tie racks and sheep or hog pens - $10 per day. 6. Set up and tear down for livestock shows and sales - $320. 7. Set up and tear down for chairs and tables - $160. 8. Additional watchman or security, per person, per hour - $5. 9. Trash removal and receptables - $15 per day. 10. Janitorial service during events - $5 per hour. 11. All other requirements for manpower of any kind for any purpose - $5 per hour. All scheduling and arrangements will be handled through the Weld County A ccounting Office. Estimated charges for useage shall be paid in advance and no set up will begin for any activity unless payment has been made. All scheduling must be made at least two weeks before activity is to begin. A $200 damage deposit shall be made by groups requesting useage in addition to all other charges. Each request shall be considered separately to assess the needs for the activity and charges made accordingly. Hello
