TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 65 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M.
WHEREAS, on May 5, 1972, the General Assembly of the State of Colorado,
enacted Senate Bill #35 as relates to Chapter 106 of the Colorado Revised Statutes,
and
WHEREAS' on August 30, 1972, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, adopted Subdivision Regulations for Weld County, Colorado, to
comply with the prescribed Senate Bill #35, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has recommended to the
Board of County Commissioners for recording Minor Subdivision No. 0961-16- 1-MS-12
as provided in Section 9 of the Subdivision Regulations for Weld County, Colorado.
Said subdivision is more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of the North-
east Quarter of Section 16, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the
6th P.M. , County of Weld, State of Colorado, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Considering the East line of said East Half as bearing North 0°17'56"
East with all bearings contained herein relative thereto.
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of said Section 16; thence along
the North line of said East Half, North 89°39'36" West 533.38 feet
to the Northeast Corner of that certain parcel excepted in Book
623, Reception No. 1544808, records of said County; thence along the
Easterly line of said parcel South 0°15' 17" West 330.00 feet to
the Southeasterly Corner of said parcel; thence along the Southerly
line a said parcel North 89°39'36" West 132.00 feet to the West
line of said East Half; thence along said West line South 0°15' 17"
West 683.55 feet to the Northerly line of that certain parcel
described in Book 668, Reception No. 1590111, records of said County;
thence along said Northerly line South 89°40'50" East 634.56 feet
to the Northeasterly Corner of said parcel; thence along the Easterly
line of said parcel South 0°17'28" West 313.76 feet to the Southeast
Corner of said parcel; said point lying on the South line of said

GENERAL
This report Lr.e e rc' _._ .. c :s ar . _
investigation prepared for the proposed subdivision locat the Soutn,:ast
corner of the. inLorsection of 20th Street and Cherry Avenue in ; eld County,
Colorado. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the suitability
of the site for septic waste disposal: by means of a conventional leaching
field, and to explore alternatives to a conventional system, if necessary. •
The conclusions and recommendations presented in this report are based upon
analysis of field data and experience with similar soils in the general vicinity.
FIELD INVESTIGATION
The field investigation consisted of four borings at selected locations on the
site. The borings were advanced with a four-inch power auger. Tne depth of
two borings was set at thirty inches for percolation study; the other two borings
were advanced to eight feet to determine the proximity of bedrock and ground
water. Percolation tests were run during October, 1972. Location and results
of percolation tests , and the logs of the deeper borings are shown on the site
plan included with this report.
SITE DESCRIPTION AND GEOLOGY
The site is nearly level sloping slightly to the South and East.
The area is underlain by recent alluvial deposits of unconsolidated sedimentary
material . These deposits consist of mixtures of sand, gravel , clay, and silt
and extend to depths in excess of eight feet.
PERCOLATION STUDY
Two percolation tests were run on the site in accordance with the standard
test method prescribed by the Weld County, Colorado, Health Department. The
test sites were located so as to give representative results for the proposed
subdivision. These tests are not intended to eliminate the need for testing on
each site prior to issuance of building permits.
The test result for the upper sandy clay was 60 minutes per inch and for the lower
sands and gravels was seven minutes per inch.

In view of these results , it is cur o7' ?oil that conventional septictank-
leach field systems will provide a satisfactory method of sewage disposal at
the density of lard usage proposed.
In the course of preparing this report, it has been ass Lined that the soil
conditions encountered in the borings is indicative of conditions over the
entire site. However, soil conditions have been known to change radically
within a short distance. Therefore, when individual systems are contemplated,
percolation tests should be run in the area of the proposed system.
The field investigation for this report was carried out under the direct
