SUBJECT: Portable Crusher & Control Trailer, B1900080
The Public Works Department recommends awarding this bid to the low bidder, Power Motive Corporation, for
one Portable Crusher and Control Trailer at a cost of $1,046,500.00. We would like to purchase the Hydraulic
Anti -Spin Cone Brake in lieu of a standard mechanical cone brake at an additional charge of $9,220.00 for a
total cost of $1,055,720.00. Operation and maintenance/repair manuals and operator training are included.
With this addition, Power Motive remains the lowest bidder.
There is $1,000,000 budgeted for this purchase.
