SUBJECT: Articulating Wheel Loader, Bid B1900011
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the lowest bidder meeting specs, 4 Rivers
Equipment, for one 2019 John Deere 644K Articulating Wheel Loader at a cost of $208,125.00.
Wagner Equipment did not meet spec for the hydraulic system return to carry. When the cost of the diagnostic
software for 10 years from purchase of machine at $1,000 per year X 10 years is included, the total bid from
Power Equipment becomes $215,391.00.
Option #2 (Maintenance and Service Manuals) is available online at no additional cost.
There is $225,000 budgeted for this purchase.
