RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR18-0120, FOR AIRPORTS AND AIRSTRIPS (GRASS AIRSTRIP FOR TAKING OFF
AND LANDING OF SMALL SKYDIVING AIRPLANES) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - BAR NINE, LLC, C/O GREG JOHNSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 20th day of
March, 2019, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Bar Nine, LLC, do Greg Johnson, 22455 CR 49, LaSalle, Colorado 80645, for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR18-0120, for airports
and airstrips (grass airstrip for taking off and landing of small skydiving airplanes) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption, RE -5012; being part
of the N1/2 SW1/4 of Section 12, Township 4 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to May 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Bar Nine,
LLC, do Greg Johnson, adequate time to work with existing airports on a Communications Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to May 15, 2019,
at 10:00 a.m.
