Our house built in 1997 is a 2 bedroom 1 % bath. Weld county list it as a 3 bedroom 2 bath. The
house was built 22 years ago and has not been updated or remodeled making it a middle of the
market home. I believe the last assessment over valued the home substantially. I have listed 5
homes that have sold in our general area. All the homes are at least 3 bedroom and 2 bath with
greater square footage plus newer build. Taking the average of the square footage cost of the
homes sold would be $184.
$184 x our sq ft of 2665 = $490,000. Adding the pool and shed would add to this total. At the
$184 per sq ft the current value would still be a little high.
I appreciate your consideration.
Thank you,
L. Scott Ekx
