Thompson has requested this office to furnish you with the soils information and interpretation for an area of land in the Sz S ;, of Section 13, T3N, R65W, Weld County, Colorado. Mr. Thompson plans to use the land for at least three homesites and a swine feeding operation. Septic tank filter fields for on-site sewage disposal will be used. The soil survey is made on the basis of 40 inch borim,s, althou0h in most cases the borincs are made to depths of 50 to 60 inches. The soil map should be used for Leneral planning and does not exclude the need for on-site investiE'ation for specific elvineering purpose. The soil is mapped as 51-B, Vona loamy sand, 1-3% slope and 72-AB and 72-X, Valent sand , 0-3% and treater than 3% slope. These are deep, coarse textured, well to excessively well drained soils and have only slight if any limitations for septic tank filter fields or feeding operations . Neither Milton Reservoir to the west nor Boxelder Creek to the east will receive any drainage from this area. If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to call.
