Item 7 listed on the completeness review for PRE18-0117 asks whether CWCWD is okay with a water well on the property for the residence and bottled water for the business. While this property is within our service area and water service may be available if requested by the landowner, Central Weld is not opposed to a well supplying water for their residence and bottled water being used for their business. Yes, for coliform bacteria only, results take 36 hours; Nitrate, Remarks: results in 1.5 weeks (total EPA requirements for potable water require other tests, about 90 in total) Well pump was cycling throughout this test. While continuously withdrawing water from the system, pressure would also be rising in the pressure tank and stop the pump temporarily. Average pumping rate was 6.7 gpm and maximum drawdown in the well during this test was only 3.5 feet. Well seal atop casing should be adjusted to ensure a tight seal. Electrical junction box at well head needs to be fully closed off (field mice had a nest inside box). This report represents my findings under the conditions present at the time of this inspection, using the currently installed pump. This report is not a guarantee of future well nor pump performance.
