RE: AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO DEFEND THE BOARD
OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, ET AL, AS DEFENDANTS
IN THE CASE ENTITLED MARTINA AGUIRRE, ET AL, VS. GLENN
K. BILLINGS, ET AL, IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT,
DENVER, COLORADO, CIVIL ACTION NO. C-3277.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, authorizes the County Attorney to defend Glenn
K. Billings, Marshall Anderson and Harry S. Ashley, individually and
as members of the Weld County Board of Public Welfare and the Weld
County Board of County Commissioners; and to defend Harold Anderson,
individually and as a former member of the Weld County Board of
Public Welfare and the Weld County Board of County Commissioners;
and to defend Francis M. Loustalet, individually and as Weld County
Treasurer; in the case of Martina Aguirre, et al, vs. Glenn K. Billings,
et al; also, to employ co-counsel and do whatever is necessary in
bringing the matter to a speedy conclusion.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted this 27th day of July, 1971.
