These extensions would be in the third year of a possible three-year term limit. The contract also allows for yearly rate adjustments based upon the current Denver/Boulder/Greeley CPI index. Oxford Recycling, Inc. (East Davis), and Aesthetic Alternative Recycling (Hokestra Gravel Pit), did not request a lump sum price increase for 2019. Oxford Recycling, Inc. and Aesthetic Alternative Recycling did not increase the after-hours and additional tree price per cubic yard beyond C.P.I. index. They will both be awarded additional services on an as needed basis. Attached to this pass around is a copy of the contract extensions/renewals and the 2019 Fee Schedules for both companies. The budget amount in 2019 for this contract is $30,000, the total lump sum contract price for both companies would be $13,340.00. Oxford Recycling and Aesthetic Alternative Recycling were awarded this contract in 2017 as the low bid contractors and the Public Works Department has been satisfied with their work. Oxford Recycling, Inc. due to a large job with complications and some equipment issues has contacted me and is removing there bid for consideration. They feel that they would not be able to get the work done in a timely manner and they want to keep the good relationship that they have with Weld County for past years work that they have performed for us. Aesthetic Alternative Recycling did not increase the after-hours and additional tree price per cubic yard beyond C.P.I. index. Aesthetic Alternative Recycling is being awarded the Iloaksra Pit site and they also had submitted a bid for the Davis East site as well. I have contacted Aesthetic and they would be able to complete the work at booth sites. Attached to this pass around is a copy of the contract extensions/renewals and the 2018 Fee Schedule. The budget amount in 2018 for this contract is $30,000, the total contract price for both companies would have been $16,640.00. With Oxford Recycling, Inc. resending there bid this would change the total amount to Aesthetic Alternative Recycling to $20,780.00. This will still be under the total budget by $9,220.00. Aesthetic Alternative Recycling were awarded this contract in 2017 as the low bid contractor Hoakstra site and the Public Works Department has been satisfied with their work.
