Dear Mr. Ogle,
CHURCH 303-651-1640
he l l oO p ur pose. ch u rch
In follow-up to our recent conversations, please consider this request for an extension to USR
filing number 15-0036 for Purpose Church. As we discussed, Purpose Church experienced
several unforeseen challenges that delayed the construction on our new Church building.
Initially, the Church experienced a significant turnover in the leadership team since the time of
the USR filing. The turnover and gap in leadership changes put the building project on a
prolonged hold. Following the assembly of the new leadership team, the building project was
reassessed for feasibility of the original plan. After the review, it was determined that the size
and scope of the project would need to be reduced to meet budget limitations and allow the
project to proceed. After receiving the financing approval for the change in plans, we requested
to meet with you and Jose Gonzalez to gain a better overall status of the USR and to discuss the
charges we would be requesting.
After reviewing the current USR and the request to downsize to a single building (including the
elimination of the pod buildings and maintain building only on the current USR planned building
site), we understood that we could move forward with the revisions we proposed. We also
understood that in order to achieve this, we would need to file an extension on the current USR.
1 am providing this letter and explanation to the delays as a formal request to extend USR filing
number 15-0036 and also to ask that we be allowed to extend to the maximum allowable time
available under the extension.
Thank you again for your time and consideration. We sincerely appreciate your patience while
working through this with us as we move forward with the building project.
Sincerely,
Robert MbDaniel
Purpose Church Elder
