RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, has long been concerned with the needs and welfare
of its youthful citizens, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is proud of the various 4-H organizations
throughout the county and of their various activities, and
WHEREAS, Weld County recognizes the services and worthwhile projects
rendered by members of the 4-H organizations, and
WHEREAS, the Board is of the opinion that it would be in the best
interest of the county to express its appreciation and to fully recognize
all county 4-H leaders and its membership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, that August 16, 1972 be and is hereby declared to
be known as 4-H COUNTY GOVERNMENT DAY in Weld County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all 4-H leaders in the county be and
they hereby are invited to participate in the activities of County
Government on said day.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote, on the 14th day of June
1972.
