RE: CERTIFICATION OF THE NEED FOR THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
WITHIN WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, NCMC, Inc., as part of application for property tax exemption to the State
Property Tax Administrator, must provide a statement from the Board of County Commissioners
as to the need for the provision of health care services at a location within Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the location of the property in question is as follows:
1) 2015 35th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado, owned by NCMC, Inc., which contains an
Urgent Care Center operated by Banner Health, staffed with physicians and other
personnel, which provides services to patients in Greeley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the need for the provision of health care services in Weld County at the
property located at 2015 35th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado, be, and hereby is certified.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of March, 2019.
