Subject: Ana Ornelas (USR17-0042)
Good afternoon.
Ana Ornelas has submitted an application to modify certain development standards
associated with her USR. We treated these changes under our minor amendment
process (1MUSR18-17-0024). However, given the nature of these changes I didn't feel
comfortable approving the changes administratively, and therefore, a hearing has been
scheduled before the County Commissioners on March 13th for consideration. Please take

a moment to review the changes (red line strikeout) and let me know if you have any
concerns. The main reason Ms. Ornales wants to modify her USR is because the Board
recently did away with TAPs (Temporary Assembly Permits) and she feels like she won't
be competitive without these changes. Please let me know if you have any questions or
