unknown owners .
You are hereby notified that a Complaint in Condemnation has
heretofore been failed in the Office of the Clerk of the above-named
Court in an action to condemn certain estates for public uses in
the property described in Schedule "B" annexed hereto . The uses
for which the property is to be taken and the authority for the
taking and the estates to be taken are set forth in Schedule "A"
annexed hereto .
You are further notified that if you have any objection or
defense to the taking of your property, you are required to serve
upon plaintiff ' s attorney at the address herein designated within
twenty (?-0) days after personal service of this notice upon you,
exclusive of the date of service , an answer identifying the property
in which you claim to have an interest, stating the nature and ex-
tent of the interest claimed and stating all your objections or
defenses to the taking of your property . A failure so to serve an
answer shall constitute a consent to the taking and to the authority
of the Court to proceed to hear the action and to fix just compensa-
tion , and shall constitute a waiver of all defenses and objections
not so presented .
You are further notified that if you have no objection or
defense to the taking you may serve upon plaintiff ' s attorney a
notice of appearance designating the property in which you claim
to he interested , and thereafter you shall receive notice of all

Schedule "A"
AUTHORITY FOR THE TAKTNC
The estate is taken pursuant to and under authority of the
provisions of the act of Congress approved June 17 , 1902 , and all
acts amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto ( 32 Stat. 388 ,
43 U. S .C. , 1970 Ed . , sec . 371 , et secs. ) ; the Act of April 11 , 1956
(70 Stat. 105, 43 U.S .C. , 1958 Ed. , 620-67.0O); and the Public Works
Appropriation Act, 1973, Public Law 92-405 (86 Stat . 621) .
PUBLIC USES
The public uses for which said land is taken is in connection
with the construction of the Hayden-Ault 345-Kv Transmission Line,
Upper Colorado River Storage Project. It is necessary to enter
upon certain lands embracing 21, 576 acres , more or less, for the
purposes of conducting geologic exploration and other investigations
directed to locating the site upon which subject transmission lines
can be constructed.
ESTATE TAKEN
The estate taken is for a temporary easement, right and priv-
ilege to conduct and make all field surveys; and to conduct geologic
explorations and investigations including the right to drill holes
needed and necessary in connection with preliminary investigations

for construction of the proposed Hayden-Ault 345-Kv Transmission
line and all appurtenances and facilities thereto. Said easement,
right and privilege to end, cease and terminate two years from the
date the United States is granted the right of possession of said
lands for the purposes stated herein. This estate is to be acquired
subject to any existing rights-of-way in favor of the public or
third parties for roads , railroads, telephone lines , transmission
lines, ditches, conduits , or pipelines on, over or across said lands .

the Plaintiff for an order for the surrender of possession of the
property described in the Complaint: filed herein to Plaintiff ,
