RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AUTHORIZE SALE OF
SAME TO ATP DIESEL SERVICES, AND DELEGATE AUTHORITY TO CONTROLLER
TO SIGN ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described as a 2010 T800
Dump Truck, Unit #15460042, being more fully described in said proposal which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal from ATP Diesel Services
for purchase of said equipment, for the sum of $14,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus, approve
said bid proposal, and delegate authority to the Weld County Controller to sign any necessary
documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment, be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the bid proposal for purchase of said
equipment from ATP Diesel Services in the amount of $14,000.00, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the authority to sign any necessary
transfer documents, be, and hereby is, delegated to the Weld County Controller to sign as the
Agent for the Weld County Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado.

Good Afternoon,
I have received the final report from the appraiser for unit # 1546004. The appraiser has deemed the unit a total loss, and
the total loss value is $78,003.83. The unit also has a salvage value of $13,500.00.
CTSI does not get involved with the salvage, but if you wish to get rid of the unit I can ask the appraiser to assist with the
sale. Please let me know if you want to keep the salvage, or sell it.
Please be advised that after deducting the $13,500 salvage value, and the $500 deductible, CTSI will be issuing payment
to Weld County in the amount of $64,0003.83. The check will process this week.
