Box 758 Greeley, CO 80631 Re: Notice of Disconnection Dear Chair and Commissioners: RECEIVED JUN 08 2020 WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS The Town of Mead is processing a disconnection of a portion of Weld County Road 9.5, specifically that portion described in Attachment 1 to this letter and as depicted in the draft Disconnection Map a copy of which is enclosed ("Subject Property"). Following the disconnection of the Subject Property, the Town of Mead intends to cooperate with the Town of Firestone to have the Subject Property annexed into the municipal boundaries of Firestone. This notice is being delivered to the Board of County Commissioners in accordance with C.R.S. § 31-12-501(1). The Board of Trustees of the Town of Mead is scheduled to consider the disconnection of the Subject Property at its July 13, 2020 regular meeting.
