Home My WebLink About710398.tiff 7•.1/ UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY ROAD DISTRICT NUMBER TWO BORROW AGREEMENT - HARNEY #48559-1-B: WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to the County of Weld, State of Colorado, an agreement extending to and including April 9, 1973, the term of contract dated May 3, 1967, granting to the County the right to excavate and remove approximately 50,000 cubic yardsof earth from the right-of-way of the Railroad Company's Dent Branch, near Harney, Colorado, said agreement being identified as Union Pacific Railroad Company's C. D. No. 48559-1 and 48559-1A; and WHEREAS, after careful review and consideration, it is considered that the best interests of the County will be subserved by the acceptance of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Chairman of the Board be and he is hereby authorized and directed to sign said agreement on behalf of the County.
